We support sustainable forestry

We source our timber sustainably wherever possible and only stock logs from responsibly managed woodlands. Altham Oak is committed to using curved logs which would be rejected by other framers, this gives added grain strength. We find innovative uses for our off cuts and waste very little of the beam sections.

       Fantastic Service from Gareth, really helpful with design suggestions for our garden room truss roof structure. this resulted in costs savings from the installation as the building contractor was able to use a simpler rafter connection method. Gareth definitely goes the extra mile as he also came to our site to drop off some repair resin for another timber structure we have at our property.
Would fully recommend.

     Gareth has just delivered our oak cover to an rsj, a handrail for a balustrade and some other bespoke pieces. All look fantastic. Thanks for much for these and your skill in getting these up the stairs.

     I am over the moon with my beautiful oak canopy porch made by Altham Oak.
From my initial enquiry to delivery and installation the service and attention to detail has been outstanding.
I would definitely recommend and use Altham Oak again should I require any other oak structures.
